New “conditional” survey questions

As part of the January 2012 EngagementHQ upgrades we are releasing a few changes to the surveys in response to a number of requests.

  1. New “conditional” questions
  2. New “ranking” questions
  3. New “Likert Scale” questions
  4. New horizontal radio button & checkbox questions.

“Conditional” questions are questions that only appear in the survey in response to a specific answer to an earlier question. Kind of like a choose your own adventure story.

In the example below the participant is first asked to respond to the questions “Do you like Christmas?”

If they answer “yes” the second question “What is it you like about Christmas?” will appear.

If they answer “no” the second question will not appear.

You could also create an alternative second question “What is it you dislike about Christmas?” if you wanted to.
