Online Discussion Trio Leads way in Public Art Consultation

Yarra Ranges Cards

Congratulations to Yarra Ranges Council who threw open their doors to an online public so they could have their say on Public Art from May to July.

In a progressive move, the forum discussion was enhanced by a trio of discussion leaders; artist and Coordinator for the Graduate Certificate in Public Art at RMIT – Anthony Mcinney, Arts Consultant  Sarah Pool and Yarra Ranges Council very own Arts Culture and Heritage Manager, Greg Box.

The three facilitators kept the topics bubbling away by introducing new ideas, providing insight into public art, debating the subject and clarifying points of concern with the community.  The many opinions expressed have been colourful, expressive, philosophical and in the main, proudly pro-active.  Good work Yarra Ranges.
