The NSW Government has launched a series of forums for the community to have direct input to important issues. First up are discussions related to the Metropolitan Transport Plan and the Health Reforms.
The platform is called Shape Your State and it seems likely that all sorts of other key NSW issues will be added to the site in the future.
This is a fantastic initiative and we are really pleased that the NSW Government is persisting with giving the community the ability to contribute to policy in this way. Some of the early input is well worth a read and seems pretty positive. More evidence (if any is needed) that people appreciate the opportunity to have their say online.
We hope that everyone will help to spread the word about the site and will contribute their thoughts and ideas.
