That seemed to work okay, so just one more and then I’ll leave Scribd alone for a while. This is a great report out of the IBM Centre for Business and Government titled Leveraging Web 2.0 in Government. Definately worth a look.
Key Findings
- Government needs to meet citizens where they are online.
- Citizens are willing to interact with Government agencies online.
- The role of intermediaries will increase.
- Government will need to rethink content and service design.
- Government will have to find ways to embed authority in its web-based services.
- Some citizens are concerned about equal access.
- Citizens trust the government with personal data but not for service efficiency.
- Government will need to measure the effectiveness of its Web 2.0 initiatives.
Recommendation No. 1… “Just Do it.”

This could not have come out at a better time…thanks for this, and will be keeping tabs on your delicious
Hi Craig,
agreed. I’m working on gradually building just such a resource using our Delicious Site. I’m not sure if this will meet everyones needs and would be grateful for any feedback?
It’s working quite nicely
What would be really useful is an indexed directory of Government 2.0 publications and research reports like this – even Vic’s eGov Resource Centre can be a trifle hard to search for these at times.
